Who Joined Recently?
Onboarding at Kestrel Labs is sending a "how is it going" survey to everyone who joined the company on or after 1 January 2022. The team wants the list in joining sequence, so the longest-serving of the newcomers is contacted first.
Hire dates are stored as plain text in the form YYYY-MM-DD. That layout is chosen on purpose: with the year first and every part padded to a fixed width, comparing two of these strings letter by letter gives the same answer as comparing the dates. Anyone who joined exactly on 1 January 2022 counts as inside the group.
employees — one row per employee. hire_date is the day the person joined, as text.

The table already exists in the database — there is nothing to create or load.
Task: Write a query returning a single column, name, for every employee hired on or after 1 January 2022, earliest hire first.
Example output — shape only, on invented names. The sequence is by hire date, so it is not alphabetical:
