Who's the Highest Earner?
Payroll at Kestrel Labs is closing this year's compensation report and one figure has to be verified by hand before the report is signed: the largest salary on file, and the name of the person it belongs to.
The catch is that the name and the number have to arrive together. Reading off the biggest salary is easy; making the database also tell you whose salary it is takes a little more thought, because the largest value in a column does not carry the rest of its row along with it.
employees — one row per employee. salary is the annual figure in whole dollars.

The table already exists in the database — there is nothing to create or load.
Task: Write a query returning a single row with two columns, name and salary, for the person paid the most. Exactly one row comes back.
